Virtual field trips (VFTs) are fun, interactive adventures that can help us ground our learning in new places! Easy-to-use online tools now allow students and teachers to easily create their own VFTs that can be shared with other people.Â

VFTs offer visitors a way to explore the world through a variety of media. Tours can be used to transport someone to a faraway place, prepare someone for an in-person trip, or as an anchor for place-based learning. Creating VFTs offers authors the opportunity to dive into new technologies and hone their collaboration, feedback, and communication skills.
