The Carbon Cycle 

Students explore a Virtual Field Trip (VFT) to learn about the processes of photosynthesis, cellular respiration, decomposition, sedimentation, combustion, and exchange that move carbon between land, water, air, and living things in Earth’s systems.  

This experience takes about 90 minutes and can be taught across two class periods.

U.S. Climate Zone Bingo

Students team up and take a virtual field trip to explore the different climate zones across the United States. Along the way, they play a game of Bingo, encouraging them to think critically about the different climate zones while playing against each other to be first to fill out their cards. 

This experience takes about 50 minutes of instructional time.
